Agility Update September reflects the hopeful mood in Spring. Our first article points to the major Asian growth opportunities on our doorstep before segueing into a global PwC survey that confirms the majority of workers are ready and willing to retrain for the digital world. Companies and business leaders, however, need to step up to change their HR talent models and management styles to harness this pool of multigenerational workers motivated by very different needs and wants. Our last article, like a Spring shower, dampens the mood somewhat with a warning about cyberwar and advice to be prepared.

In this edition we look at the jobs that artificial intelligence (AI) cannot do, and the implications for new training for employees, and follow it with some interesting observations on the ethical issues being posed by Big Data. Of more immediate importance, our third article reminds directors of the new responsibilities they will face in respect of cybersecurity in coming months.
